If you get to Bikeability Level 3, you'll have learned how to plan your route. So why not try out a few different journeys in your local area?
You can use local street maps (available from libraries, newsagents and garage forecourts) or get online to check out details of cycle routes near you.
Try Sustrans - www.sustrans.org.uk - for details of the National Cycle Network which covers over 10,000 miles of cycle routes. You'll find an interactive map to help you plan your route as well as free maps to download.
The CTC - www.ctc.org.uk - also has routes and maps as well as details on how to get other training such as mountain biking skills
Or British Cycling - www.britishcycling.org.uk if you fancy cycling as a sport or challenge
