This section of the Bikeability website is designed to provide all the content and materials required for delivering a cycle training course to both children and adults. It includes all the information you are likely to need whether you have been working as a cycling instructor for many years or if you are a recent instructor.

Management Structure
A clear course management structure is essential for any cycle training scheme provider to protect you from risk as an organisation. It is also important to understand how your course fits into the overall management structure of your organisation and its wider policies.
The various policies outlined such as health and safety, child protection etc are what would be expected from any professional organisation delivering services to the public. However, a majority of the examples used are specific to cycling.
Many of you will already have all these procedures and policies in place so it will just be a case of pulling them together and presenting it as the management structure for your course. However, if there is any area where you are missing the relevant documentation or feel your procedures and policies could be improved then this section of the site can act as a resource.
