You can also keep updated with Bikeability news by registering here.
Local Authorities
All providers of cycle training including local authorities will be able to participate in the Bikeability award scheme. To give out Bikeability badges and certificates to your trained cyclists however, you must first ensure that your training scheme meets the National Cycle Training Standard and your instructors have been trained and accredited to this Standard. For further information about accreditation please visit www.cyclingengland.co.uk/bikeability.
Schools
At present, all extra funding for cycle training is being channelled through local authorities so it is best to contact your local authority in the first instance. We're working to arrange cycle training directly for schools through School Sports Partnerships. Keep monitoring this website for further updates.
