A partnership built on skills for life
At Bikeability, we believe that when children develop essential life skills early, they are more confident, capable and independent as they grow. That is why our partnership with NatWest Rooster Money is such a natural fit.
Together, we share a clear mission to equip children with the skills they need to navigate the world around them, whether that is learning to cycle safely or building confidence managing money.
From first pedals to first financial decisions, we are supporting children to build independence, resilience and confidence that lasts.

Confidence that carries forward
Both Bikeability and NatWest Rooster Money focus on building transferable skills that extend far beyond the initial learning experience.
- Independence – making decisions and navigating the world
- Confidence – trusting their own abilities
- Competence– developing practical, real world skills
- Responsibility – understanding actions and consequences
By focusing on these core areas, we are helping children take positive steps towards a more independent future.

Putting partnership into practice
Our partnership is grounded in real experiences that help children take meaningful steps towards independence.
Through Bikeability training, children progress from developing core skills in a controlled environment to making independent journeys on the road.
At the same time, NatWest Rooster Money supports children in taking their first steps towards financial independence, helping them understand money, make decisions and build confidence.

“Watching the children move from Level 1 cycle training on the playground out onto the open road for Level 2 was a real showcase in the similarities between The Bikeability Trust and NatWest Rooster Money: both build confidence in children and give them skills that will travel through life with them.” – Will Carmichael, CEO
Supporting Cycle to School Week
NatWest Rooster Money is the headline sponsor of our flagship campaign, Cycle to School Week.
Together, we encourage families across the country to swap the school run for the school ride. The campaign helps children build confidence on their cycle while developing independence, road awareness and healthy habits.
It is another way the partnership brings learning to life through everyday experiences that shape long term behaviours.
