The Bikeability Trust Recognised Delivery Centre

The RDC, has been developed to support both individuals and organisations in training, delivery and qualifications.  

Our RDC leads the way for industry on their delivery, assessment and quality assurance of cycle training, working alongside the National Standards.  

Our core offer

We offer the following 1st4sport qualifications:   

1st4sport Level 2 Award in Instructor Cycle Training (L2AICT)  

The Level 2 Award prepares learners to become cycle instructors delivering cycle training in accordance with the National Standard for Cycle Training.   

Learners who successfully complete the L2AICT will be qualified: 

• To independently plan, deliver and evaluate progressive cycle training including Bikeability 

• To teach individuals and groups of children and/or adults 

1st4sport Level 3 Certificate for Tutors and Assessors in National Standard Cycle Training (L3CTACT) 

Learners who successfully complete the L3CTACT will: 

• Be qualified to train, mentor and develop new cycle instructors. 

• Have the skills and knowledge required to deliver the L2AICT qualification 

• Be able to support the development of cycle instructors
