The list highlights and celebrates women who love cycling and encourage others to take part too. The list was started in 2017 and since then has showcased women from all over the country and every walk of life who are champions of cycling.

The list has included cycling school-run mums, paralympic cyclists, campaigners working for accessible cycling for everyone and community group leaders. Do you know someone who encourages others to cycle?

There are four categories you can nominate for; Community champion, Sporting hero, Cycle Influencer and Industry mogul.

There are lots of women doing fantastic work to elevate the importance of cycling for everyone. There are so many inspiring women out there, whether it’s sporting hero and Paralympic medal winning cyclist Sophie Unwin, or some of our fantastic cycle instructors like Emily Groves from Bradford or Emma McLoughlin who works for Go Velo.

Plus there are community champions like Jas and Faith, who cycle everywhere with their family, or Kate Ball, who advocates for accessible cycling for everyone and won our Family of the Year award as part of the 2022 Celebration of Bikeability.

You can see all the women who have made the list since 2017 here. If you know someone who deserves recognition for their cycling work, then use the form here to nominate them
